Haplogroup I2 may have originated in southeastern Europe. It appears to have cut a wide path from eastern Europe through central and southern Europe, and the British Isles. There are two haplogroups under I2 that in particular concern us - I-P37 and I-M223. At this time, there is too little data under I-P37 to warrant discussion here.
