Research Assistance: The mailing list has been shut down. Those seeking research assistance can explore this site for data and follow the research suggestions on our FTDNA FAQ page. The project administrator will not respond to private email requests for assistance.

The yDNA project administrator will not respond to research assistance requests through the yDNA project JOIN button.

Y DNA interpretation help can be given ONLY to existing project members and every effort will be made to do so. If you want help understanding your own Y DNA results, refer to the DNA Q&A and haplogroup pages on this website and seek out those haplogroup projects, which are likely to have the most current information.

The project administrators cannot help you recover a lost FTDNA login/password. Contact FTDNA for help.

The project administrators will NOT discuss individuals or specific lineages who might be or might not be in the project.

The project administrators are NOT an email or message forwarding service.

The project administrators are not concerned with what other project administrators do in terms of allowing others to view data.

The project administrators are NOT a dumping ground for your DNA and genealogy research frustrations, no matter how many decades you've been doing research, how much you think somebody's posted family tree is wrong, or how much money you have spent on DNA testing.
