William Collins and Mary White of Knockgorm, Caheragh, Cork

There were probably a number of related Collins families in Knockgorm. They are mostly closely related on the paternal line to a Collins family from Loughcrot, Dromdaleague.

The earliest ancestor for which we have records is Denis Collins. We *think* he was the son of William Collins and Mary White.

Besides William, they had Denis (1880), Mary (1882), Daniel (1884-1901), Ellen (1887), Michael John (1889), Rebecca Anne (1891), John Patrick (1894), Cornelius Vincent (1896), Patrick Leo (1898-1904), and Jeremiah Patrick (1901-1901).
