The earliest known origin of this line is Loughcrot, outside Drimoleague. It spread out to Lissangle (Caheragh) and Dunmanway. This line is related to Collinses from Knockgorm, Caheragh from a time pre-dating available church records.

  b.c. 1790 possibly Loughcrot, Dromdaleague m. Ellen Mahony. They had daughters Mary (1817), Ellen (1822), Juliann (1824), Ellen (1829). Besides Cornelius, there was also a son John (1819).
