Patrick Collins and Catherine Collins of Bawnahow South, Dromdaleague, Cork

Patrick Collins was from Bawnahow, outside Drimoleague in West Cork, Ireland. His wife Catherine was from neighboring Lissane Lower. His parents may have been Simon Collins and Johanna Driscoll, but we aren't sure.

Several of the children went to live in Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The project does not think this Collins paternal line survived in New York.

b. 1834 Bawnahow d. 14 Dec 1909 Bawnahow m. Catherine Collins of Lissane 03 Mar 1859 in Caheragh R.C. Parish. Had daughters Johanna (1860); Mary White (1861-1940); Catherine (1862-1944); Honora Lynch (1871-1947); son Humphrey (1875) went to the United States, became a priest, died 1919; NFI on sons Patrick (1867); John (1873); Patrick (1874). Patrick (1874) married Ellen Donovan and had two daughters.
